Main objectives
PROSPECT aims to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience on innovative financing schemes used to implement sustainable energy and climate plans, especially within the framework of the Covenant of Mayors. Through peer mentoring activities and study visits, cities and regions learn how to finance the energy transition from the ones who understand it the most: their peers!
Background Information
The Energy Company Lyse has considerable experience developing projects, and they also participated in the EU Lighthouse project Triangulum. Lyse will showcase two projects. The first one is a project where they have installed lamp posts as charging points for electric cars in the City of Stavanger. The second project “Blink” is an innovative communications solution, which provides broad-based video communication solutiosn for healthcare, training and meeting purposes.
Nordic Edge is a non-profit organisation that is most known for its smart-city conference, the Nordic Edge Expo, which takes place every year in September in the City of Stavanger. Nordic Edge is however much more than just the conference, and their latest project is Innoasis, a sustainable smart city hub.
